Advanced Digital Advertising Specialist

We are looking for an advanced digital advertising specialist to join our team!

Our company, through our music training Academy, now has several products that have been tested and proven, and we are ready to scale up our sales by bringing on a full time, in house digital advertiser.

Logan Crockett, our VP of marketing, comes from a digital advertising background, so he has been running most of our ads up to this point. But as our team is quickly expanding, he doesn’t have enough time to lead the team well and take on all of the demanding responsibilities of digital advertising.

We have been very successfully doing digital product launches through Facebook ads, and we are looking to increase our efforts here, but we are also looking to start advertising additional products through additional digital advertising channels.

This will be a largely performance based role. There are hundreds of other businesses out there doing similar things to what we are doing through advertising (selling/promoting online education and events). We are going to expect you to match or beat the results of some of these other major players who have similar sales funnels. If this excites you, then this role may be for you! If your ads aren’t performing at high standards, we will not be able to keep you in this position. We will be very clear to set expectations with you upfront so that you aren’t guessing.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, implementing, optimizing, creating, reporting, and analyzing for all advertising campaigns for the Full Circle Music Academy.
  • Monitor ad spend budgets across all platforms and make recommendations for adjustments
  • A/B test funnels to improve ad performance
  • Share regular reports of ongoing results to Sr. management
  • Write all creative copy for ads
  • Work with our team to develop graphics and videos for use in advertisements
  • Create plans to make sure all comments and communication generated by paid ads are responded to quickly
  • Constantly learn new advertising techniques and strategies from the best digital advertisers in the business
  • Track performance from advertising through the complete sales funnel to guarantee that the company is making strong, positive ROI
  • Create SOPs to systematize repeatable advertising tasks
  • Occasionally help train digital marketing apprentices on advertising and marketing strategies
  • Work in conjunction with other team members who are focusing on organic traffic to coordinate cohesive digital marketing plans across the company

Required Skills/Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work/professional experience
  • Google Ads Certified (or ability to very easily pass the exam)
  • Must have spent no less than $200,000 across various advertising channels
  • Deep knowledge of all major digital advertising channels (Facebook/Instagram Ads, YouTube pre-roll ads, Google Display Ads, and Google Search Ads)
  • 2+ years of professional digital advertising experience in a team environment
  • Proven track record of self-study in digital advertising practices
  • Deep knowledge of marketing sales funnels and digital marketing strategy as a whole
  • Must have experience in “direct response marketing” rather than only experience in “branding/awareness” marketing
  • Must be highly organized and able to make decisions and prioritize without constant help from Sr. management

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with traditional advertising channels (print, radio, TV, etc.)
  • Experience with additional digital advertising channels (TikTok, Twitter, Yahoo, Bing, etc.)
  • Knowledge of the music industry and music business strategies
  • Marketing/Business/Advertising college major
  • Additional advertising/marketing certifications
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics
